Of all the great pubs in Dublin, here is our favourites.
Darkey Kellys, The Kinlay House Bar – Located on the other side of Kinlay House, you can enter the beer garden through the self-catering kitchen. Live music, special deals for guests and a great spot for a quick nightcap before bed, Darkeys is the perfect place to get started before hitting the town, but you might not leave!
The No Name Bar, Fade street – It really has no name and it’s beside a restaurant with no name; how convenient! Keep an eye out for the restaurant with the snail out front and go upstairs after the restaurant, you will be pleasantly surprised.
The Porterhouse, Parliament Street – With great live music and 3 floors be careful not to get lost!! There’s always a good crowd and it makes its own beer, what’s not to like?
The Brazen Head, Bridge Street – The oldest pub in Dublin is an absolute must see for everybody. With Trad music sessions, a large courtyard and good food – there’s always a laugh to be had here.
The Cobblestone, Smithfield – A staff favourite here in Kinlay, some of the best Irish music sessions in the city and a great vibe altogether. It’s a little bit out the way compared to some of the other pubs on the list, but it keeps the crows away.
Kehoes, South Anne Street – No music and lots of snugs, this one is a Dubliners favourite. In a great central location with a lovely pint of Guinness, sure why not!!
Grab your ticket from reception and join fellow hostellers for an unforgettable night, unless you keep slamming those tequila shots back… €12 per person includes a free Guinness, free shots, discounts and free nightclub entry.
