What Our Guests Say

All our reviews are taken from Tripadvisor so you can get an honest opinion of what our guests experience was really like!

I came to Dublin from South Africa on my first back packing holiday and booked a 6 bed mix dorm room at Kinlay Dublin. Despite some negative reviews I can personally say I really enjoyed my stay and can’t fault the hostel at all. The staff were very helpful, rooms and bathrooms I found exceptionally clean, I really enjoyed my stay and I will be back again! I highly recommend kinlay for anyone looking for accommodation in Dublin. Thank you Kinlay, it was absolutely amazing!!

We stayed there for 3 nights. The public transportation took us really close to the hostel directly from the airport, in 40 minutes, and it was super affordable and easy. The neighborhood is really really nice and safe, and the outside of the building is really cool. Friendly staff and quick check in.

My first experience in a hostel and i was more than impressed. We booked a private room with ensuite, which came with a bunk bed, but a double bed on the bottom which would easily fit two people if you dont want to climb to the top bunk. Room and bathroom were very clean, and although basic, they had everything you expect. Also comes with towels which is a nice touch! A great location for temple bar and the surrounding area. It is a wee bit noisy at night but this is what you expect if you stay in such a busy area.

Really enjoyed out stay at this hostel. Good location near several places that I and my friends wanted to visit. Within walking distance of St. Patrick's and Dublin Castle, and plenty of places nearby to grab a bite to eat. Clean, quiet, and good WiFi. Didn't get to eat breakfast, so can't comment on that. Otherwise really good experience!

Booked a private twin room for myself and a friend as we were attending a concert that night. €45 for the two of us for one night in a prime location was extremely reasonable. Check in at 2, staff were lovely. Room was small but clean. Bunk beds with a double on the bottom and single on top. No soap on bathroom but a towel and bed each which for the price we payed, we were pleased with the experience.
